On the celebration of his birth, The King received many
gifts from his subjects. But Sliv Island
gave naught but a hammer and a shield. The messenger claimed that the hammer
could break through any defensive structure, while the shield could withstand
any blow.
The King immediately pointed out both claims could not be
true.
The messenger refuted that they were, and that if they
struck each other, it would end the world.
The King, not believing him, picked them up and struck them
together once.
The world, unsurprisingly, did not end.
The destruction only reached a few thousand miles.
