Her boot came down on my throat hard enough to cut off my breathing but not hard enough to break anything. Had I not been panicking about what I would do next, I may well have complimented her on the skill and control needed to pull off such a difficult move.
But then she swung the sword with a painfully obvious untalented hand, the blow barely breaking the skin of my temple.
As I took out her leg and rose, one thought sprung to mind as I ripped her heart from her chest.
Good thing I hadn't complemented dumb luck.
