He was one of the most prolific Adjudicators in history, and he was about to die.
For over fifty years, he served the crown by travelling the land and killing those accused of crimes. The Gods were known to exist, thus letting their infallible judgement determine innocence and guilt was the moral thing to do.
He was sure of it, and so when he died, he expected greetings and fast-tracked Heaven.
All he got was an endless sea of people, all of whom had been waiting to pass judgement on him for what he had done.
