Iron Rules

Their rules were clear.

She was bound by the spell, she kept her beauty, her health, her youth, only if she never hurt one of the fae.

He was bound by the oath he'd given, if he hurt one he'd promised to never hurt, he'd lose the glamour, the magic, the protection that prevented those that lurked in darkness from finding and ending him.

Given that they now hated each other, they wanted to separate. But if they did, they knew they'd inadvertently hurt the other.

Because overriding the rules of witches and the fae is the rule of irony.
