You’ve heard of a googol by now, right? A one, followed by a
hundred zeros? Famous website corrupted it for their name? Right, so there’s
the googolplex, which is a one followed by a googol zeros, and then the
googolplexplex, which is a one followed by a googolplex zeros.
Can you picture that? Can you possibly comprehend such a
huge, ridiculous number?
Probably not, not truly. And yet, it’s just a whole lot of
zeros and a solitary one.
So why do we think we have any hope of comprehending each
other, truly and honestly, when we can’t grasp that?
