A Ray Of Sunshine

Look, I know I’m not the guy you look to for positive leadership, or at least I really shouldn’t be. There is really no need for me to do anything other than continue to put out the content I want to put out, or at least the content I’m able to produce.

But right now… I can’t help but feel I need to do something, say something reassuring, given all that is happening.

Dropped Line

After a dozen or so hours staring at the computer screen, he was still no closer to cracking into the database. He’d tried every trick he knew, but every possible lead was a dead end. He put his head in his hands, trying to think, but sleep overcame him, and after a few moments his head fell onto the keyboard, still fast asleep.

Had he planned this as some sort of cosmic punchline, the random buttons he’d press during his nap would log him in.

Sadly, he hadn’t planned it, and instead his drool led to the keyboard electrocuting him.

But then you have all his friends, his semi-professional sporting life, his time with the local political branch… he had to give something up eventually, surely.

And he did. But it was the mistress and embezzlement balls no-one was seeing…
