Hoyip was the eighty-fifth most powerful wizard alive,
although he had no intention on lowering that number. He was happy to spend his
mornings casting simple cantrips for the peasants and minor nobles, while his
afternoons were spent perfecting his opus.
His son, despite his best efforts, had contracted Blackscale
as a baby. And while he had survived, he didn’t, seemingly couldn’t handle the
outside world, he was lost inside his mind.
So Hoyip worked, and worked, and finally perfected a Pocket
World for his son.
