The takeover was smooth, minimal casualties, only one wing of the building damaged. As the fires were being put out, I approached the vault door with the former base commander following with a few rifles aimed at his back.
I opened the panel, and unlike the button display I was expecting, instead a simple audio input grill sat there. I turned on the former base commander.
"A new system? Talk about timing. But I still need you to open this. Or else you die."
"Death to my enemies."
I ordered them to fire before I noticed that unlocked the vault.
