My secretary told me that there were rumblings about the research team having some sort of issue that they didn't want me to know about. So I cleared my afternoon and strode down there, ready to explain just how much money I'd invested in them and thus deserved answers.
But instead, they calmly explained they'd found a cure for a category of cancers, but it was so cheap and simple I'd be unable to make a huge profit off it, per standard procedures.
I calmly explained how this would make all our products sell more and moved forward with it.
