Warrior Princess MacGuffin

She was once Princess MacGuffin, hope for peace and unity between The Empire and The Kingdom. But that was years ago, before she had escaped, before she had run away.

She’d never wanted to be a figurehead of prosperity. To be honest she’d never really wanted to be a roaming warrior either, moving around the lands, both mapped and unmapped, but it was a better life than tedious needlework and forgettable bards.

She blended in well with the rest of the mercenary army, just another face in the unwashed mass of fighters.

Luckily for me her birthmark was distinctive though.

Marrying Princess MacGuffin

When Princess MacGuffin had returned from her captivity, after a week to mourn the sacrifice of Prince Victorious, the Kingdom began to prepare for the Wedding. After all, the Evil Cultists clearly wanted to prevent the marriage which would unify the Kingdom and the Empire, but now she was back, it could go ahead.

At dawn, the High Priest came to the Princess’ door, to spend some time in prayer with her for a happy marriage and many healthy children, knocking then entering her room.

And setting off the trap she had prepared when she escaped a few hours prior.

Rescuing Princess MacGuffin

The Temple had been declared impenetrable by man, but Prince Victorious was never one to shy away from an impossible task.

He rode forth, and found the treacherous quicksands of the Demonic Desert nothing but an annoyance, and the Forest of Terrors was a stroll in the park.

The Temple itself was slightly challenging, as the cultists clearly were desperate to perform whatever ritual it was that they needed the Princess for. But he slew them all, and opened the door to her cell.

And set off the trap she had prepared when she escaped herself a few hours prior.
