Chain Reaction



Kav was beaten for a few hours, but to his credit, he did not break. So they tossed him back into the cell with his master, the Great and Powerful Sanstonus.

“When you’re ready.” was all Sanstonus said as Kav stumbled and fell, sprawled on the floor, the chains binding Sanstonus clinking.

Kav spat out some blood and glared at his Master. “And do what?” he managed.

“They left my canteens over there in the corner.”

Kav grumbled but fetched them. He went to pour it into Sanstonus’ mouth when the wizard reared back.

“Mix them! They’ll melt the chains…”

Truly, An Epic Battle



Atop The Celeste Peak, the tallest point in all of Tovakia, the two mages battled. The fate of the world surely rested on this battle. As the storm clouds spun above them, Sanstonus paced, his eyes not leaving Colgin’s form.

“Come now, what are you waiting for? The great Sanstonus, afraid? You cannot hope to get past my amulets and magical armor!”

Colgin pounded the heavy steel breastplate of his full armor, magical amulets clinking.

“True, my power is not enough to bypass your defences. But the Gods have provided.”

Colgin looked confused until the lightning bolt hit him, hard.

Practical Magic User



Sanstonus strode into the icy cave and looked around. “Well?” he asked, glaring at Kav, his servant boy.

Kav looked around and then pointed into the gloom.

Slowly, a humanoid shape began to approach them, his hands held high. As he approached, it became clear that he was an Ice-man, one of the many magical creatures of the land.

“Kav say you make Sleet fireproof. I love Oxi, she Fire-Spirit, and-“

The wizard held up a hand.

“Sorry, you can’t interact with her, yet you love her?”

The Ice-man paused, and then lunged.

Sanstonus waved his hand and liquidized him.
