Not Your Mine

The mine was buried in the shade of a tree, by the river, by a local freedom fighter. It was meant to blow up an imperialist pigdog here to rape and pillage the land. But the police action was over before troops looking for terrorists moved into this general area.

For years, it lay waiting, ready to explode once someone stepped on it. But by sheer luck, despite many people walking or sitting nearby, it didn't go off until a CEO of a multinational corporation stepped on it during a tour of his new clear cutting operation.

So mission accomplished.
