There was this weird buzzing sound when I picked up the
phone, but I stuck to the greeting.
“Hello, Triple A Pest Control’s Priority 24 Hour Help Line,
how-“
“You do all pests?”
I couldn’t place the accent.
“We certainly deal with all manner of pests, yes, we-“
“You aware DiabCo Lab? Where bee hive mind research done?”
“Um, not off the top of my head, but I can look it up… Some
bees causing problems?”
“No, humans. We have credit numbers!”
The numbers didn’t work, but worked out a barter since I love
honey.
