The Ambassador was led into my office after I left him waiting
for a few minutes, for safety.
“Ah, Ambassador! So I see the transfer has been approved!”
He sat down, looking over his half-glasses.
“Indeed. All the gold we are holding in your banks, plus a substantial
cash transfer, in exchange for your newly privatized electricity network, your
water system, and your local phone division…”
“You seem concerned.”
“Well… Why? Not that my country’s corporations aren’t
excellent, but-“
“Oh, well see, we’ve just declared war on you, and thus
seized all property back.” I explained as I shot him.
