Your mind cannot comprehend the terrors beyond the barriers of the universe.
That's not code for 'different is automatically bad' like some of your authors claimed. I mean that it is physically impossible for you to comprehend what originated outside your universe. Every atom of your being vibrates at the same rate as every other atom of your universe. Even the smallest change to this vibration makes the subject impossible to discern.
But at least they can't see you, right?
Of course, when they're rampaging through a universe, they tend to just open their mouths and move forward.
