The cops call me in when they need to open doors and safes that
have electronic locks. So when I walked into the penthouse, the large imposing
door with a discreet keypad didn’t surprise me. What did surprise me was the post
it note stuck above it with a date.
“25/5/2000”.
I turned to the officers huddled over a tablet.
“It’s gotta be about the Liberation Day of Lebanon…”
“No, it’s Nicholas Clay, one of his films…”
“How many digits?” I asked.
“Six, according to his wife.”
I nodded, and then annoyed them when I got it first go.
“0.0025”
