The client was insistent that the action be done this way. I preferred open decision making, but it just had to be done a specific way for some reason. The client clearly thought they were good at reading people, as they stared intently at me as I assured them I understood their wishes and was as confident as ever with the plan.
I entered the building how the client demanded, and found the client and the target waiting to kill me together.
Thankfully my confidence in any plan came from assuming I was to be double-crossed and thus being prepared.
