Night Soil

I met the civilian on my patrol, my partner was checking the nearby latrine for explosives, and the civilian approached the house and began digging at the garden with his bare hands.

I approached the civilian and informed him this was an active warzone. I was about to direct him to vacate the area when he informed me, and k quote;

"There are always more wars, more reasons to kill. But these plants, they know nothing of your reasons, and they do not care."

At that point the explosive device the civilian must have planted in the latrine went off.
