The answer to the problem was staring us in the face the whole time, but we couldn't see it. We were too busy focusing on our differences and agendas. Too single-minded to see the opportunity to win the day when it was offered.
So we fought amongst ourselves and then we fought the enemy, weakened and broken. And we lost. Badly. Almost wiped out.
And that was how we won in the end, like a Phoenix, we rose from the ashes and fought back, driven by the losses we'd received, and we won.
The hard, painful, costly way.
As usual.
