The dragon that took residence on the town fountain was the size of a direram. It caused a minor spike in visitors as dragon experts came to look at the smallest dragon ever seen, especially when it didn't grow and was therefore presumed to be an adult.
But there's only so many dragon experts, and the town has the problem, the Dragon expects a gold in the fountain whenever someone passes, there's only so many coins we can spare.
But on the other hand, our luck in all other aspects of life is excellent, so I can't complain too much.
