It was fought between five men and two women, and also an infinite number of beings drawn from other universes.
Billions died, but there was no known casualties.
No-one was left unaffected by it, but no-one remembered it.
Every battle was long and bloody, every weapon more powerful than whole armies, every casualty changed the course of world history. And it never happened.
Because the only thing more powerful than someone fighting in a war is someone who can stop it.
