Belief…
It used to be powerful. It used to be able to change the
world, one person, with an idea, the ability to share it, could make people
follow them… From one to many to perhaps all, a strong enough conviction could
change everything.
Not just religious ideas, but also political, scientific,
emotional, technical, the fanatical followed ideas from every aspect of human
thought, zealots came in all forms.
And now, just one man has a single thought, and the world
changes instantly to suit.
His belief stands alone, unchallengeable.
Until we can get him suicidal for a split second.
