There was a small pot of paint and a brush kept in the
storeroom. No-one knew who originally put it there, but whenever one was empty
or broken, whoever broke/emptied it would replace it.
Sgt. Kornif was the go-to guy when he was stationed onsite,
as his brushwork was excellent, he could write clearly and accurately with the
brush, no matter how long the message was. But now it came down to whoever had
the idea for a message, they’d have to do it themselves.
After all, you had to write something on the bombs before
they were loaded up.
