How I Killed Melody



When she first lunged towards me with the blade, I easily dodged it and assumed it would be an easy fight. Didn’t bother me that the strike somehow turned the radio on.

But quickly I realised that initial clumsy strike was a ruse, as she suddenly became like lightning, every slice and jab getting closer and closer to breaking my guard.

Then suddenly she backed away, and we began to circle. Right as the song on the radio went into the bridge, and the baseline stopped… Which she was following.

I was never more thankful for my lack of rhythm…
