He had been under a hundred skies, seen thousands of lands.
He had seen a triple sun rise, and watched moons break apart, supernovas form. He
had met almost every type of life in the universe. Some were customers, some
were commodities, and some were conquests.
His life had been an almost constant adventure, every cycle
brought new excitements, new wonders, new experiences, many of them never
before experienced by humanity. Life on the edge of the galaxy was never dull.
Not a moment.
But right now, as he bled out under a rainbow sky, none of
that really mattered.
