It had the fatal flaw when it came to bad ideas.
It made sense.
Even as ‘ordinary’ crime fell (at least according to the
statistics), it quickly became more common to hear about another terrorist
attack, another shooting, another bombing, each cause getting ‘championed’.
And given that this upswing occurred with the rise of the
internet, they had to be connected. Terrorists able to talk across cast
distances, stood to reason.
But to be fair, at the time, who could have realised it was
just the natural outcome of humanity sensing its oncoming extinction without
being able to stop it?
