Global Connections

It had the fatal flaw when it came to bad ideas.

It made sense.

Even as ‘ordinary’ crime fell (at least according to the statistics), it quickly became more common to hear about another terrorist attack, another shooting, another bombing, each cause getting ‘championed’.

And given that this upswing occurred with the rise of the internet, they had to be connected. Terrorists able to talk across cast distances, stood to reason.

But to be fair, at the time, who could have realised it was just the natural outcome of humanity sensing its oncoming extinction without being able to stop it?
