She had spent her entire life turning jewels and metals from
all over the world into beautiful, wearable art. Ever since she was a little
girl, sitting next to her father, she had studied and worked hard and developed
her skills. She could spin any metal into chains that looked hair thin, and
could turn a random collection of stones into pieces that would be the crown
jewel of any set of crown jewels.
In any world, any land, she would be known as the finest
craftsperson of her lifetime.
Except the one where she lived, since magic was easier.
