The Landslide

The final tally was indeed a landslide, we only managed to get a little over thirty percent of the vote and thus we lost.

In the last few days before the election, all the pundits, other than the ones I was paying off, were predicting I’d lose.

In the last weeks, I seemed to be unable to do anything right, as every day I made another gaffe.

At the halfway point of the campaign, while touring a shop, I asked a young woman if she was happy with the color scheme of our brochure.

Every landslide starts with a pebble.
