The final tally was indeed a landslide, we only managed to
get a little over thirty percent of the vote and thus we lost.
In the last few days before the election, all the pundits,
other than the ones I was paying off, were predicting I’d lose.
In the last weeks, I seemed to be unable to do anything
right, as every day I made another gaffe.
At the halfway point of the campaign, while touring a shop,
I asked a young woman if she was happy with the color scheme of our brochure.
Every landslide starts with a pebble.
