Conversations At Knifepoint

Value is subjective.

After all, a gold coin can get you a good meal, a clean bed and a body of your preference to warm it, but only in places that value gold. Out on the Farchuk Islands, a gold coin can only get you a coconut, if the coin is shiny enough to catch a child’s eye.

Gold, silver, art, goods, services, everything you can imagine buying or selling, there is no intrinsic value in it, only what someone is willing to give up to have it.

For instance, your life. What are you willing to give for it?
