Power Flower

At the very top of the tallest skyscraper in the eighteenth biggest city in the country, there was, unsurprisingly, a whole bunch of masts and poles. Mobile phone, GPS, short wave radio and a few even more obscure electrical systems put waves of energy out every second, every minute, every day.

It was far away from the ground, from water, from anything natural. But storms brought enough of both that a seed could grow, and a flower form.

No-one saw it, but it grew, even under all that power and stress.

Until finally, something changed.

And The Flower woke up.
