As courtships go, it was on the long side, although not record
setting by any means.
Across the years, they just slowly began to drift together,
hanging out more and more. They’d both had grand plans. He’d wanted to meet his
soulmate hiking through a rainforest, she’d wanted to be swept off her feet by
a mysterious man at a fancy casino.
But neither of them thought they were settling, or missing
out. They just never really made a decision about it, until one day they
realised they were technically a couple.
Then they decided to just go with it.
