Director's Chair



He could have been the greatest film director who ever lived.

Nothing would have been beyond his grasp. He would have been right at home directing a mega blockbuster, or a two hander arthouse flick.

He could have gotten the best performances out of the best actors of multiple generations, every frame would have been a work of art. He’d have been one of our most important artists.

But he avoided the entire industry. Not because of illness, or the place, nor time he was born in.
