Humanity was surprisingly hard to wipe out.
Had we known how problematic they would become, we could
have just taken out their star before they took more than a couple of tentative
steps from their home planet.
But we foolishly assumed that they would improve, that if
they managed to discover enough of the secrets of cross-galaxy travel, they’d
be ready to integrate into the cosmic harmony.
They were arrogant, combative, greedy, and above all else,
they were unwilling to accept that other races knew better than them.
So we wiped them out.
At least, I’m fairly certain we have…
