I spent most of my life avoiding the chance of having a
perfect moment.
Think about it. There’s going to be a single best moment in
your life, right? Of all the peaks and valleys it’ll have, there’s going to be
a point that is the highest your happiness will ever be, overall.
I didn’t want to know I’ve had that, and spend the rest of
my life going mostly downhill. So I deliberately kept my life good, but not
great, thinking I’d never know what my best moment was until death.
Then I met you. And now I know.
