There was a time before The Journey. There will be a time
after The Journey. But for now, there is only The Tribe, The Journey.
Once a child can keep up by themselves, they become members
of The Tribe, and are told why there is The Journey. They are told about the
time before, and the homeland that we had. They are told of the homeland we are
going to.
They are then assigned a task for The Journey. Soon I will
choose a new storyholder, and explain about the rocks we storytellers secretly
mark each time we pass them.
