Power Gauntlet

The gauntlet was the only part of the First Queen's armor to survive the Battle of All Hope. It quickly gained power as a symbol of rebellion and defiance against the Dark Ruler. The symbol of the Underground, it became the symbol of the Second Empire, images woven into battle flags, the gauntlet the last item new rulers took during coronation. The power the Gauntlet had to inspire, to rally, to symbolize all that was good, was immense.

But it took many generations before someone asked how it survived that battle and began the path to unlocking its actual power.
