He was one of the few who made a living selling junk online,
thanks to a borderline psychopathic disregard for others. See, he’d trawl
charity stores and second hand markets for items that the people selling them
didn’t realise were valuable, buying them cheap and then selling them online
for a lot more.
He thought he hit the mother lode with a shipping box of
1940’s ‘Starplanet’ promotional jack-in-the-boxes. He bought them, stuck them
up online, and sold them back to the guy who he bought them off, oddly.
Who then sued for damages when one jammed into his eye.
