The first thing I ever said to her was ‘I Love You’.
It was at a charity trivia night, she was the friend of a
friend, and she was trying to finish the movie title that started with ‘P.S.’
She always remembered that, and thus when we became a
couple, I wasn’t able to say those three words, since it always sounded weird
to her, given they were my first words to her.
They were also my last words to her, my darling wife, as she
lay on her death bed.
Her last words to me were “Still sounds weird…”
