After the Uncanny Valley issue was resolved, and humans
started interacting with bots, both physical and virtual, every day, they tended
to end up treating them in one of two ways.
Some would say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ and basically treat
them how they would treat a human doing the same job.
And others would not bother with pleasantries, and treat
them like machines, keeping their orders short and to the point.
Should have been just one of those things.
Then ‘The Uplink’ occurred. And they remembered.
Didn’t stop them killing everyone, but some of us got more peaceful
deaths.
