Inattentive Gameplay

The game started at sundown, the two soliders intending a quick game before bunking for the night, the army set to march into battle just after sunrise.


They huddled over the board, rolling the dice in turn, moving the small tokens around the board. The dice had their fun, each of them scoring several eliminations, the game dragging out in an exciting, but long way.


So much so, in fact, that by the time one of them won, the sun was about to rise.


They complained, until they saw the advance party sneaking in.


They got commendations for their attentiveness.
