The Hero

When the call came, he should have been ready. He'd spent most of his life being trained and prepared to be the hero, to be the one who stood against evil, to be the light in the darkness.

And yet, when the call came, when a great evil rose up, and a hero was needed, no-one answered. And the evil conquered all, ruling the world.

One of the few rebellion members left tried to find him, tried to trace him down.

And eventually he found him.

Sitting on the throne, as the great evil that had conquered the whole world.
