Time Loop Rules

I stared at the red crystal in the chest, as I listened for the sound of temporal energy gathering around me.

The book told me that this was how the time loop worked, the temporal energy swirled around me, and once it reached a certain level, the crystal would send me back 24 hours, and repeat.

To break the loop, I just needed to break the crystal.

So I locked the chest up and put it back on the shelf. As far as costs of immortality went, this was one I was happy to pay from now till, well, forever.
