“The Title of Protector has been passed down from Protector
to Son for many Generations to Protect Us All.”
That’s the quote. That’s the bit that ended up doing in my
former boss.
Don’t get me wrong, as a bright-eyed loyal henchman, I totally
bought his thinking too. You read that, of course you’re going to think that by
ensuring the Protector only has a daughter, you can win.
How was he supposed to know that was just descriptive, not
predictive, that that was just how it had happened for a while, and that
Protector to Daughter worked just fine?
