Consider The Source

The year of the rule of Fabius III was the sixth Ankrea spent serving as a pleasure slave.

On her ‘anniversary’, this Syrian trader was given a night with her as a sweetener for a deal. She served, as she had been trained, then after the first session he asked a question she wasn’t prepared for.

“Was that good?”

Her first instinct was that he just wanted to be praised, but there was a tone of genuine inquiry that she had not heard from other such Masters. She considered the question.

She lied, since she didn’t want to be punished.
